About 3,000 people enjoyed a full day of music, games, workshops, food and fun at the 2017 Put-in-Bay Music Festival on June 10. Bluegrass, new grass, blues, jazz, zydeco, folk, and some pop and rock thrown in for good measure provided attendees a festival that personifies Perry’s Victory & International Peace Memorial’s long tradition of promoting peace through music.
The festival will began at 11 am the Floorwalkers finishing about 8 pm.
There was no admission was fee and those attending brought blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the beautiful setting of Put-in-Bay’s iconic National Park that has both harbor and lake views from the festival site.
Our partners, including festival sponsor Miller Boat Line, the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society, the Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce and the Perry Group (NPS Friends Group) have a full day of relaxing fun planned for all ages.
Put-in-Bay Music Festival organizers are already planning the 2018 music fest and as soon as the new line-up of entertainment and workshops is ironed out, we’ll post it here on this page. Until then we’ll leave the 2017 information posted.
